Rob MacEachern is an active drummer, and is the CEO and chief inspiration of the MacEachern Drum Company. He has been playing professionally for 23 years and has toured Canada and the United States approximately 60 times. For the uninformed, Xymox came to birth in the fall of 1993. Since this time we have attempted to make our mark by creating new (and possibly innovative) ideas. A quick list would include; the first marching tenor pad (1994) and both the orb (spot) pad and the corps pad (1995/1996).

Up until this time the only pad options on the market were single, double or split pads. We created and developed the first patented snare pad (1999/2000) which brings the ordinary to life with a metal applicator inserted on the bottom side creating a realistic snare sounding pad.
